MARCH 2019

1 - NAC Current Count is 236 individual children plus 1,073 initiative children for a total of 1,310 (with 701 to go to reach 2,011).

1 - DelhiDrive&Distribute handed out 50 samosas and 50 ladoos to children on the street.  Also packets of biscuits.

1 - Received & Matched Donation #268 from Whitney Kershner, USA (ongoing).

4 - DelhiDrive&Distribute handed out 50 homecooked meals (kitchiri rice, cucumber, apples, juices, chips).  Visited Families#2&7.  Distributed an additional 15 apples and biscuits.

4 - Received & Matched Donation $269 from Geeta Singh, New Delhi, India.

5 - Received & Matched Donation #270 from Angela Albert, Orlando, Florida, USA.

5 - Transmitted funds to Malawi for two hot meals for 50 children and a March Maize distribution for 100 children.

6 - Received & Matched Donation #271 from Ian Morse, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA (ongoing).   

6 - DelhiDrive&Distribute handed out 50 vegetable pulao with boiled eggs and cucumber slices plus juices, bananas, and biscuits to street kids.

8 - DelhiDrive&Distribute handed out 30 samosas & ladoos to impoverished children.

11 - DelhiDrive&Distribute handed out 20 home-cooked meals to impoverished children (rice, lentils, potatoes, chips, juices, bananas).

14 - DelhiDrive&Distribute handed out 50 vegetable pulao with biscuits to impoverished children.

14 - Provided five families with staples (rice, flour, lentils, beaten rice, soya, oil, cumin, chili, tumeric).  Five more to be handed out. 

18 - DelhiDrive&Distribute handed out 25 vegetable pulao with boiled eggs to impoverished children.  Also staples to Family#9.

19 - DelhiDrive&Distrisbute handed out 50 boxes of samosas&special HOLI sweets to impoverished children.  Also staples to Family#3.

19 - Ongoing paperwork related to undocumented Sidewalk School Kids finally completed.  Will enroll children in school later this month.   

20 - DelhiDrive&Distribute scheduled.

22 - Enrolling 12-14 street kids in schools will begin.


 





FEBRUARY 2019

1 - Provided Diapers, Milk, Wipes to Family #3 for Baby Arti.  Also a Stuffed Koala Bear.  Looking for housing for Family #3.

1 - Provided White School Uniform to Child #1288 from Family #7. 

2 - Received & Matched Donation #265 from Vicky Bowman, Fairfax, Virginia, USA.

4 - DelhiDrive&Distribute handed out 50 homecooked meals to impoverished kids (rice, dal makhani, potato&soya, cucumber) along with apples, milk, and biscuits.  Also staples for eight families (#2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7, #8, #9) with 24 children (rice, flour, poha, lentils, oil).

4 - Annual Filing Requirement with the IRS completed.

5 - Distributed 16 homecooked meals (rice and chicken curry) with juice to 16 impoverished kids.

5 - Provided required White Uniforms for two children in Family#2.

5 - Moved Family #3 (parents and five children) from the sidewalk into a temporary rental room.  

6 - 2018 Financial Record filed with NAC Treasurer.  

6 - DelhiDrive&Distribute handed out 50 fruit salads and 50 juices to impoverished children.  

7 - Received & Matched Donation #266 from Geeta Singh, New Delhi, India.

8 - DelhiDrive&Distribute handed 50 hot meals to impoverished children (rice, vegetables, dal with oranges, milk, & chips).

9 - DelhiDrive&Distribute handed 100 hot meals (rice, dal, & vegetables or parathas & potatoes with apples, juice, chips).  Also toiletries and staples to eight families and shoes that grow to five children.  266 to date.

11 - Renewed GoDaddy unlimited webspace for five BOD members.

12 - Transmitted funds to Malawi for two February Hotmeals.

13 - DelhiDrive&Distribute handed out 37 homecooked meals to street kids (vegetable biriyani with boiled egg, biscuits, orange, mango juice).

15 - DelhiDrive&Distribute handed out 50 homecooked meals to street kids (chapati, suji halwa, banana, biscuit, juice).

18 - DelhiDrive&Distribute handed out 50 homecooked meals to street kids (rice, besan curry, apples, chips, milk).

18 - Learned Child#1287 (age 13-14 years) is now married and has moved to her "husband's living quarters"....

19 - Report Child#1287's "marriage" to Child Welfare Committee.  Also collected birth certificate for Baby Arti (Family #3).  

20 - DelhiDrive&Distribute handed out 50 homecooked meals to street kids (chapati, suji halwa, banana, juice, biscuit).   453 meals to date.

21 - Received AmazonSmile Donation.  

22 - DelhiDrive&Distribute handed out 50 homecooked meals (suji halwa, chapati, fruit, snack, drink).

25 - Received & Matched Donation #267 from Fernando Santiago-Mandujano, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.

25 - DelhiDtive&Distribute handed 67 fruits salads and bottled water to street kids.

27 - DelhiDrive&Distribute handed out 30 Mutton Biriyani and 40 packets of biscuits to street kids.  Total for February 600.

27 - Handed out staples (rice, flour, beaten rice, soy, oil, lentils, chilli powder) to six families.  Two more delivered later.   

27 - Issue with underage marriage of Child#1287 resolved with the help of Child Welfare Committee.    Child "divorced" and parents "warned."

28 - Hot baths, clean clothes,  and lunch for Child#1294, #1295, and #1298 (Sidewalk School kids who no longer have access to schooling).  


JANUARY 2019

1 - Last Hot Meal distributed to 50 Children in Area 17 of Blantyre, Malawi; it was a New Year's Celebration.

2 - Received & Matched Donation #258 from Geeta Singh, New Delhi, India.

2 - Daily Tutoring in Hindi and English of Child#1287 continues in the park and Children#1294, 1295, 1298, 1299, 1300 and 1303 on the Sidewalk.

2 - Distributed 50 home-cooked meals (Vegetable Pulao, Apples, Juices, Chips, Biscuits) to impoverished street children.  Also toiletries to 30 kids (toothpaste, toothbrushes, soaps).

3 - Distributed staples and vegetable fried rice and jelabis to Families#2 and #9 (flour, besan, soya, beaten rice).

4 - Celebrated the birthdays of two siblings in Familiy #3 Child#1275 and #1276 Vimala & Lakshmi with hot baths, new clothes, cake, sweets, balloons, candles, and gifts (on the sidewalk where the family of seven reside).  Also provided Diapers, Wipes, Milk for Baby Arti (Child#1302). 

4 - Food distribution to 50 kids (Rice, Dal, Vegetables, with Apples, Juices, Chips, Biscuits) to impoverished children..

7 - Distributed 50 home-cooked meals (Kichidi Rice, Cucumbers, Bananas, Chips, Juices) to impoverished street children.  Also chocolates & raisins.

8 - NAC celebrates exactly eight years (2011-2019) since its inception.  Current Count is 235 individual children plus 1,073 initiative children for a total of 1,309 (with 702 to go to reach 2,011), albeit NAC has handed out hot meals to hundreds of "nameless" children on the streets.

8 - Child#1287 Shahida given a hot water bath, groomed, and dressed in new clothes.

8 - Staples Distribution to Families #3, #4, #5, #6, #7, #8, #10, #11-12, #13 (flour, besan, soya, beaten rice). 

8 - Received Malawi update along with photos and video of Hot Meals and Maize Distributions in Area 17 and Wizason Village.

9 - Distributed 50 home-cooked meals (chaptis, lentils, vegetables with apples, juice, biscuits, cupcakes) to impoverished kids.

10 - Children #1295, #1298, #1299 (Aiysha, Subatha, Soniya) given hot water baths, groomed, and dressed in new clothes.

11 - Hot Meal Distribution (chicken biriyani, cucumber raita with milk, oranges, chips) distributed to 50 impoverished children.

11 - Child#1288 Shenaz given a hot water bath, groomed and dressed in new clothes.

31 - Child#1287 Shahida continues to be tutored five days a week in Hindi & English daily; Sidewalk School kids forced to vacate current location by local authorities.

31 - Received a donation of 25 pairs of "The Shoe That Grows" from Sinikka Parvis, Seattle, WA, USA. 

31 - Annual Filing Requirements for the States of Washington and Hawaii completed.

Not Another Child (NAC) has been granted tax exempt status and all donations are exempt from Federal Income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All Contributions to NAC are deductible under section 170 of the Code. NAC also is qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code. NAC is further classified as a public charity under the Code section(s) 170(b)(1)(A)(vi)
