18 - NAC Children in Bangalore, India treated to McDonalds Holiday Meal.  NAC Secretary visited two Trusted Individuals on the Ground.  Decision made to continue supporting three children (#81, #82, #83) in 2017. Support to Child#73 has ceased following four years of assistance.       

23 - Holiday Distribution to 53 Families (fresh chickens; tea packets) and 85+ Children (freshly prepared hot lunches, juices& milk, cookies& crackers) in Jangwani, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.  Two boxes of 80 crackers donated by Stephen William of Mwanza, Misingwe, Tanzania.

JUNE:

6 - Purchased mattress, mosquito net, charcoal cooker, rechargeable lamp, & bin for water for DARFamily#2.  Will provide water & charcoal monthly.

AUGUST:

1 - Distributed 1,050 Kgs maize to 40 children in Malawi--fourth & final distribution.  NAC Board Member present at sites.  Also visited several of the 20 huts (in which these children reside) that now have NAC--provided plastic sheets covering roofs so children are protected during the rainy seasons.  

2 - NAC Board Member visited Nsanje District in southernmost Malawi to mingle with 200 children from remote villages.  Maize Distribution for 100 of these children has been initiated (Wizason Village Initiative).

9 - Communicated with Trusted Contact in Malawi about the Wizason Village Initiative.  Roster of children's names and their photos on record.  Distribution of maize to commence presently.

12- Trusted contact in Malawi reports that the 100 children has each received 26 Kg of maize in Wizason Village.  

18 -Trusted Individual on the Ground in Tanzania helped bathe NAC children and also cooked for NAC Masaki Family.  Provided clean clothes.

31 - Provided sandwiches&eggs&cookies&milk to five children in Masaki and 38 children in Jangwani.  Distributed rice, maize, beans, oil, salt, sugar, tea, and soap to seven families (23 children) in Jangwani.  Gave two Masaki children backpacks for school.  Agreed to assist Masaki Mother earn income by selling sodas at Coco Beach on the weekends by investing in 120 bottles of Coke, Sprite, etc., to help her "business" get started.
